Zur Chalte HoseAn organic farmstead
Living on the organic farm Zur Chalte Hose are Angus cattle, Pomeranian ducks, Croatian pigs and horses. The owners, Nils Müller and Claudia Wanger, established the farm and manage it committed to living up to the philosophical standards of organic food production. Animal welfare is thus vitally important to them, and it is the only Swiss farm permitted to carry out slaughter on pasture of its livestock. Their products are sold in the farm shop, and every two weeks an organic dish is served in the tavern on the property.
Zur Chalte Hose focuses on sustainable production and fair animal husbandry. “Organic” is no longer the standard today that it used to be. Nils Müller and Claudia Wanger consistently pursue the path back to nature, combining on their organic farmstead modern farming techniques with traditional, sustainable values. To make this visible and recognizable, HDK created a retro-style look for the enterprise.
