The children’s charity World Vision Switzerland together with its donors, is implementing its vision of creating a world for children. For more than 30 years, this nonprofit organization has focused on development cooperation, as well as providing emergency and disaster relief, and acts as well as an ambassador for children’s rights. World Vision has consultative status at the World Health Organization (WHO), and collaborates on emergency relief programs with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the World Food Program (WFP) of the UN.
In order to attract additional donors and patrons for their indispensable work, a clear positioning was undertaken in the context of a rebranding, the brand promise was elaborated, and a shared vision was developed. In addition, together with the customer, the existing product range could be extended to include new forms of donations allowing donors to sponsor a village, for example, or orient a donation around a specific theme. The redesigned visual appearance and the step-by-step training in the organization’s corporate wording ensure that the vision “A World for Children” is audible and visible in all the communication media it works in. The web site was launched in cooperation with Future Connection Zurich. With the comprehensive brand revitalization, World Vision Switzerland is responding to the changing donor behavior of the Swiss population.
